2nd Day of filming.

On a day we were meant to filming, this was me: 

We were meant to go West end to film but due to the weather we couldn't and the cameras had to go on the next day. So we are off-schedule but it will be done!

1st Day : Camera, ready action - Alexander Palace

Time: 3o'clock

Location: Alexander Palace - The Hills.

What went well?

1. Micheal and range had the write outfit. The main artist looked exactly how the group wanted him to look
2. We were able to shoot the whole song a few times in different angles and shots : Medium shots, Close ups, 360 , high angle and low angle. ( A variety to choose from and lot of footage to 'play' with)
3. They were a lot of locations to choose from.
4.  We were organised - We knew who was in charge of filming. Eg. Beverly did the 360 because she had steady hands.Who took pictures or controlled the music. We had a lot of time to film before it got  dark
5. Weather was clear enough to film.  

What didn't go so well?

1. Did not have a reliable source of music - batteries kept running out.
2. As we was on a hill it was hard to position the tripod so it didn't affect filming.
3. As it was a public place people kept walking by but as we have a lot of footage - we can use others.
4. It was very cold on the hill - No one was prepared for that wind!
5. The lighting wasn't good as it was natural and the sun wasn't out - Next time we need to make sure we have another source of light.

THE FRIGHT OF THE DAY: A SECURITY GUARD SAID WE COULDN'T FILM ESPECIALLY AS WE HAD A TRIPOD. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SET BACK FOR OUR GROUP! BUT WE WE WERE ABLE TO GET PERMISSION *DANCES*

Diary Entry 2-Weather condition Filming day scrapped!

As you can see the weather today was not looking very positive because of the heavy rain, this has interfered with our filming day not going according to the schedule. The camera is due back on Thursday morning  so my group have had to make a decision and come to an agreement to film on Tuesday!

To make the music video look as professional as possible and the artist MK to look his best we put make up on him. He said "It was a strange experience but I liked the out come"

The location was beautiful and so was the view. We used this location to contrast with the location we shall use in west end. This will relate to the lyrics of the song "we both come from 2 different worlds"

We had to practise with the green screen because we wasn't 100% sure whether we wanted to use a black or green screen. In the end we decided!
