Rough cut evaluation

Today we finished our rough cut for our music video 'Just a little' however there were some advantages and disadvantages to our video therefore we will have to make some adjustments in our final.

Advantages

• The slides and fades create movement to the music video 
• The footage for alexandra palace were most useful because there was good lighting and a lot of space. 
• We had 3 different outfits for the different locations, which stuck to a normal convention to other music videos that made our music video look more attractive and exciting. 
• Locations was well thought as this added content to the music video.
• Because we worked as a team, everyone knew there role in the film taking.

• The ad-libs gave us more footage 

Disadvantages

• Lip syncing in certain ereas was accurate enough 
• lighting in studio and lecister square was too dark compared to Alexandra palace 
• We couldn't record anymore so we had limited footage to work with. 
• Kept to limited shots and angles as the majority were mid shots.
• The earth quake effect wasn't as effective in Ally pally as it was in lecister square because the lights in lecister square went more in the mood with the song.
